Chef Darrell Raymond, is known for his fresh approach to Asian, contemporary American Cuisine. He began his culinary career in 1996 working at Raoul's the famous SoHo establishment. Raymond left New York City in 2006 when he was recruited by Starr Restaurants to open Buddakan Atlantic City. As the Executive chef of Buddakan the restaurant has received accolades of being the best restaurant in 2007 and still notable know to be one of the best restaurant in Atlantic city. Raymond migrated back to NYC in 2011 and became the Asian Concept chef for all BR guest restaurants. In 2015 he went on to become the Food and Beverage Director for a fast-casual concept called Sushiro in NYC. He was responsible for all menu development, procuring, cost analysis. After Sushiro, Raymond accepted the opportunity end of summer 2016 to work for Marcus Samuelson as his Vice President Food & Beverage for the company.
